About this event

Our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adam Tickell, is hosting his first set of open office sessions for students.

Come and chat to Adam about anything to do with the University - it could be something you care a lot about, or something you wish would start, stop, change, or happen more. Adam is one of the most senior people at the University, and has general oversight of the whole institution including teaching, student services, campus facilities, accommodation, finance, and more.

You can join Adam for a one-to-one chat or small group conversation - you're welcome to bring someone from your course or student society, or anyone who would like to discuss the same topic. To make best use of the 10 minute slots, we recommend you come along with a particular area you'd like to discuss.

Adam is meeting as many students as he can as part of his induction, including at student lunches and Student Experience Question Time events. The open office sessions will continue in the next academic year with a greater variety of dates, so watch this space for another chance to sign up.

The open office sessions for Spring/Summer 2022 are:

• Thu 7 April, 12.00 – 1.00, Frankland Building

• Thu 28 April, 11.00 – 12.00, Frankland Building

• Tue 17 May, 3.00 – 4.00, Muirhead Tower

• Thu 16 June, 12.00 – 1.00, Nuffield Building

Adam is holding a separate open office for staff, and sign up details will be shared with all staff via email.
