About this event

We are hosting our next Sustainability Town Hall in person and online this December, an event that welcomes all staff and students to learn about the University's sustainability work, from research and education to on-campus practices, including the launch of our Carbon Accounting Report.

This report summarises the recent comprehensive review of the University’s Greenhouse Gas emissions, an essential step in understanding how to accelerate our journey to becoming a Net Zero Carbon University by 2045.

This Town Hall is an opportunity to meet our new Interim Head of Sustainability, Chloë Owen, who will provide an insight into how her work is enabling us to drive our strategic direction forward. We will also be hearing the brilliant work carried out at the Guild of Students and in the Business School’s Centre for Responsible Business.

You are encouraged to bring along your lunch, and join us from 12:00 – 13:00 (we welcome latecomers!) to hear from our range of speakers, followed by the opportunity to ask questions and network.

A full agenda will be available soon.

Please contact sustainability@contacts.bham.ac.uk with any questions.
